Malaysia´s tourism industry will only see a short-term fall in the number Chinese tourists following the  inclusion of United States and Taiwan as destinations for mainland travelers, says Tourism Malaysia. Tourism Malaysia´s International Promotion Director for North and East Asia Wan Zawawi Mohamed says the stiffer competition will test Malaysian operators to come up with more innovative products. “The Chinese tourism pie is very big. Malaysia may be a small country but our diversity and natural attractions offer travelers very enriching experiences,” he said a the three-day Beijing International Tourism Expo which opened Thursday.
